Defendants appeal from a judgment in habeas corpus proceedings, granting plaintiffs the custody of Carol Ann Riemersma, the minor child of defendant Mabel Riemersma. In reviewing habeas corpus proceedings involving the custody of a minor child, we examine the record to ascertain if the legal rights Of the parties have been properly determined and the welfare and best interests of the child protected.
