This is an action of trespass on the case, begun by the appellee against the appellants in the Circuit Court of Cook County on May 11, 1888, under the ninth section of the Dram Shop Act, (Eev. Stat. chap. 43, Starr & C. Ann. Stat. page 971), to recover damages for injury to her in her means of support by reason of the intoxication and death of her husband caused by the sale to him of intoxicating liquor by the appellant McMahon, who kept a saloon on premises owned by the appellant Powers.
