MEMORANDUM ON TRUSTEE’S OBJECTIONS TO DEBTORS’ AMENDED CLAIM OF EXEMPTION

The court has before it objections filed March 1 and June 7, 1990, by Ann Mostol-ler, Trustee, to the claim of the debtor, James Hornsby Leamon, to an exemption in certain annuity plans established through the Tennessee Valley Authority Retirement System (TVARS). 1 The debtor claims his exemptions under Tennessee law pursuant to Tenn.Code Ann. § 26-2-lll(l)(D) (1980) or, alternatively, Tenn.Code Ann. § 26-2-104(b) (Supp.1990).
