This case arises out of two contracts for the construction and sale of a new one-family residence in the town of Brookfield. In 1973, a construction contract was negotiated between the plaintiffs, H. Ascher Sellner and his wife Sandra A. Sellner, and the defendant Beeehwood Construction Company, Inc. This contract was signed on behalf of Beechwood by its president, the defendant Simon Aragi. Aragi himself, on his own behalf, subsequently conveyed the land and the building to the Sellners in 1974.
