ZAMPANO, District Judge.

The defendant, Michael Roland Roy, moves to dismiss federal firearms charges pending against him on the ground that federal prosecutors violated certain provisions of the Interstate Agreement on Detainers Act (“IAD”), 18 U.S.C., App. (1982).
