OPINION

SUTIN, Judge.

This is a workmen’s compensation case. The trial court awarded plaintiff 50% permanent disability, and plaintiff appeals.

We affirm in part and reverse in part.

A. Findings of Fact.

The trial court made the following findings of fact:

Plaintiff sustained an accidental injury on or about August 11, 1969, arising out of and in the course of his employment. Defendants had actual knowledge of this injury. As a natural and direct result of the subject accidental injury, plaintiff had a 50% permanent disability. At the time of the injury, the average weekly earnings of plaintiff…
