At the April term, 1879, of the court b'elow, *213the appellants, as the executors of the last will and testament of Jesse Smith, deceased, submitted to the court their written report, duly verified, in final settlement of their testator’s estate. Thereupon the appellee filed written objections and exceptions to such final report, and to the discharge of the executors from the duties of their trust. The appellants answered appellee’s objections and exceptions, by a general denial thereof, and by a special or affirmative defence, to which appellee replied by a general denial. The issues joined…
