This is an appeal by claimant1 from a decision of the Unemployment Compensation Board of Review refusing benefits to claimant on tbe ground that he was not “unemployed” within the meaning of section 401, 43 PS §801, as that term is defined in section 4(u) of the Unemployment Compensation Law, 43 PS §753(u).

Claimant was laid off because of lack of work on August 14, 1958. He had been employed by Mack Trucks, Inc., Allentown, for about three years. In addition to this employment claimant and his wife rented a farm, cultivating approximately fifty-five acres with corn,…
