Claimant was regularly employed as a coal miner at the Bethlehem Mines Corporation, Ellsworth, Penn*86sylvania. By reason of lack of work due to a work stoppage in the steel industry, he was laid off from June 2, 1952, to July 28, 1952. He filed applications for unemployment compensation benefits for various weeks during that period. The bureau found him ineligible for the reason that he was not unemployed during those weeks as prescribed by the Unemployment Compensation Law.
