Plaintiff Sharon Kelly, a registered nurse proceeding pro se, commenced this action against her former employers the New York State Office of Mental Health (“OMH”) and the Brooklyn Children’s Center (“BCC”) (collectively, “defendants”)1 asserting that defendants discriminated against her on the basis of her disability in violation of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (the “Rehabilitation Act” or the “Act”), 29 U.S.C. § 701 et seq. She also alleges that she was retaliated against for exercising her rights under the Rehabilitation Act.…
