GARDNER, Circuit Judge.

This is an appeal from the decree in favor of appellee, plaintiff below, in a suit for infringement of patent No. 1,866,779, which was issued to plaintiff, Maytag Company, assignee of Howard F. Snyder, July *21912, 1932, on an application filed by Snyder June 14, 1922. The suit involves claims 23, 26 and 29 of this patent, which the lower court held valid and infringed by defendant’s washing machines, Models AW-19 and other models sold and used by it. The claims are set out in the margin.1
