Carrington Mortgage Services, LLC brings this action to challenge the effect of the 2013 non-judicial foreclosure sale of a home on which it claims a deed of trust.1 Carrington sues the Liberty at Mayfield Community Association (HOA), which conducted the foreclosure sale, and foreclosure-sale purchaser SFR Investments Pool 1, LLC, seeking a declaration that the sale was invalid or that SFR purchased the property subject to Carrington's security interest.
