[¶ 1] Bobby Llamar Kelly appeals from a judgment of conviction of armed robbery (Class A), see 17-A M.R.S.A. § 651 (1988), entered following a jury trial in the Superi- or Court (York County, Brennan, J.). 1 Kelly contends that the court abused its discretion when it denied Kelly’s motion for funds to pay for an expert witness, and that the court erred when it refused to exclude evidence of the victim’s identification of Kelly from a photo lineup and in the courtroom and when it refused to exclude statistical DNA evidence.
