The defendant Michael Bikundi, Sr. (“the defendant”), his wife, Florence Bikundi, and others, are charged in a multicount Superseding Indictment for participating in an alleged scheme to defraud the District of Columbia Medicaid Program. Incident to the government’s investigation and prosecution of the defendant and his alleged co-conspirators, the government seized significant assets alleged to have been derived from or otherwise involved in the charged offenses.
