This action was brought in the District Court of the Twelfth Judicial District, in and for the City and County of San Francisco, by the plaintiff in possession by his tenant of certain real property in said city and county, against the defendants, who claimed some estate or interest in the property adverse to him, for the purpose of determining such adverse claim, estate or interest.
