Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Juviler, J.), rendered May 29, 1990, convicting him of murder in the second degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.
Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.
The defendant was not deprived of his constitutional right to the effective assistance of counsel. A review of the totality of the evidence, the law, and the circumstances of this case as of the time of representation, shows that the defendant was provided with meaningful representation (see, People v Rivera, 71 NY2d 705; People v Baldi, 54 NY2d 137).…
