I. Introduction
Plaintiff, an individual proceeding under the pseudonym “John Doe”1 and the son of Asian-American immigrants, enrolled at Amherst College (the “College”) as a first-year student in the fall of 2010. In October of 2018 he was informed that another student, Sandra Jones, had filed a complaint accusing him of sexual misconduct on the night of February 4-5, 2012.
