MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

KEYS, United States Magistrate Judge.

The dispute before the Court arises from Plaintiffs Motion to Strike Certain3 of Defendants’ Affirmative Defenses. For the reasons set forth below, this Court grants in part, and denies in part, Plaintiffs motion.

BACKGROUND

Plaintiff, Catherine Hayes, filed suit against Defendants, the City of Des Plaines (“the City”) and several of its police officers, after her former husband, Michael P.
