This appeal is from a judgment entered upon a verdict of a jury for personal injuries sustained when plaintiff was struck by defendants’ automobile. The facts in the case are substantially as follows: On February 23, 1924, at about 10 o’clock in the evening, plaintiff was waiting at the corner of Twenty-fourth and Pacific avenue, in the city of Tacoma, for a street car to take him to bis home.
