This is an appeal from a money judgment entered in a court-tried case which arose out of a construction project in the City of Clinton, Missouri. On June 28, 1967 the appellant, George E. Baumann d/b/a George E. Baumann Construction Co. (hereinafter referred to as “Bau-mann”), as general contractor entered into a contract with the Housing Authority of the City of Clinton, Missouri (hereinafter referred to as “Authority”) for the construction of 150 low cost housing units together with related facilities.
