Columbia Union National Bank & Trust Co. (Columbia Union) appeals from the district court’s 1 grant of summary judgment in favor of third-party defendant Hartford Accident & Indemnity Co. (Hartford) in an action on a banker’s blanket bond. The district court judgment was rendered after both parties, at the direction of the court, filed cross-motions for summary judgment.
