In an action to recover damages for personal injuries, the defendants Victor and Donna Novello appeal from so much of an order of the Supreme Court, Suffolk County (Underwood, J.), dated September 4, 1992, as denied that branch of their motion which was for summary judgment dismissing the plaintiff’s common law negligence claims insofar as they are asserted against them.
