In this action, 1 plaintiff Thomas Collier seeks damages against defendants James River Corporation of Virginia (“James River”) and Seven Islands Land Company (“Seven Islands”) for injuries sustained when a car in which plaintiff was a passenger struck a culvert situated within a State of New Hampshire right-of-way adjacent to defendants’ property. 2 Plaintiff premises defendants’ liability on claims of negligence, negligence per se, and nuisance.
