Plaintiff, appellant herein, was the wife of Paul W. Finkle, deceased. The deceased, who was in the upholstery business, wanted to borrow money for business purposes. In some manner, he contacted Paul Daly, district sales manager for The Western & Southern Life Insurance Company, appellee herein, with reference to obtaining such loan. An application was made to The Western & Southern Life Insurance Company for a loan, but this application was rejected. However, Mr. Paul Daly did assist Mr. Finkle in securing a loan at the Hyde Park Building & Loan Company. In consideration for these services…
