Appellant was tried and convicted under the following indictment: “The grand jury of Faulkner County, in the name and by the authority of the State of Arkansas, accuse Jesse Cox of the crime of perjury, committed as follows, to-wit: The said Jesse Cox, in the county and State aforesaid, on the 31st day of October, 1923, personally .appeared before J. A.
