At a special court-martial bench trial appellant pleaded guilty to six specifications of false swearing, violations of Article 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), 10 U.S.C. § 934; appellant also pleaded not guilty to a seventh specification of false swearing and an alleged 20 day unauthorized absence, a violation of Article 86, UCMJ, 10 U.S.C. § 886. The trial judge found appellant guilty of the unauthorized absence and six specifications of false swearing, as pled.
