On the 10th day of January, 1871, Jacob Solt, who owned a tract of land in Stephenson county, of seventy acres, executed a deed of trust to Jacob Hart, as trustee, to secure the payment of a certain promissory note of $350, payable two years after date, with ten per cent interest, to Cyrus A. Sheetz. On the 22d of September, 1871, Jacob Wingart recovered a judgment in the circuit court of Stephenson county, against Jacob Solt, for $237.17.
