The record in this case shows that William Moody, Jr. (Plaintiff Moody) filed a class-action complaint on 20 December 2002 against Sears Roebuck and Co. (Defendant). Plaintiff Moody’s complaint alleged that Defendant committed unfair and deceptive trade practices when marketing and performing vehicle wheel alignment services at Sears Auto Centers.
