Defendant-appellant, Alfredo Garcia, a.k.a. Enrique Chavez, appeals the sentence imposed upon him by the Clermont County Court of Common Pleas pursuant to Ohio’s felony sentencing law, Am.Sub.S.B. No. 2 (“Senate Bill 2”).

On October 16, 1996, appellant was indicted by the Clermont County Grand Jury for one count of grand theft of a motor vehicle in violation of R.C. 2913.02(A)(1), a fourth degree felony, and one count of theft in violation of R.C. 2913.02(A)(1), a fifth degree felony.
