A jury convicted Shawn Smith of two counts of indecency with a child by sexual contact and one count each of aggravated sexual assault of a child, injury to a child, and assault causing bodily injury. Pursuant to findings of true to the State’s enhancement allegations, Smith was sentenced to ninety-nine years’ imprisonment each for the indecency with a child by sexual contact and aggravated sexual assault offenses, twenty-five years’ imprisonment for injury to a child, and one year in county jail for assault causing bodily injury.
