Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Westchester County (Scancarelli, J.), rendered April 3, 1984, convicting him of criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree and attempted petit larceny, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

The defendant’s sole contention on appeal is that the trial court erred in ruling that the People could adduce proof of various similar crimes which had been previously committed by the defendant in order to prove his intent with respect to the crimes charged in the indictment. This…
