Mrs. Mary Ogles brought suit against the Louisville & Nashville Railroad Company to recover $1600 as damages for personal injuries. She alleged that she boarded a train of the defendant company at Canton, Ga., a station on the defendant’s line of railway, having purchased a ticket from that point to another station, TJniveter, three miles distant.
