William D. Jones, an employee of the Smith-Lohr Coal Mining Company, the plaintiff in error, died-in the mine of the plaintiff in error, and while in its employ, shortly after noon on the day of September 26, 1916. Mayme Jones, claiming to be his widow, was appointed administratrix of his estate and filed an application for an adjustment of claim with the Industrial Commission, stating that the deceased came to his death while in the employ of the plaintiff in error.
