McCULLOUGH, Judge.

*103 Defendant appeals from his convictions of possession of a firearm by a felon and discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling. For the reasons stated herein, we find no plain error.

I. Background

On 19 August 2013, defendant Johnny Burris Bryant, Jr. was indicted in case number 13 CRS 50172 for possession of a firearm by a felon in violation of N.C. Gen.Stat. § 14-415. This indictment was superseded by an indictment issued 8 September 2014.
