Defendant-appellant, Gerald A. Payne, appeals his convictions for trafficking in marijuana in violation of R.C. 2925.03(A)(2), 2925.03(A)(3), and 2925.03(A)(4). On October 15, 1993, relying on information received from an informant, Officer Paul Larkin of the Clermont County Sheriffs Department and another officer drove to appellant’s residence for the purpose of examining the contents of appellant’s garbage.
