This is a writ of error by the defendants in the court below to review a judgment for the plaintiff entered upon *249the verdict of a jury. The action was brought to recover the reasonable value of the materials and labor furnished by the plaintiff for a viaduct which the defendants were erecting for the city of New York upon a written contract between them and the city.
