The record in this case discloses that a certain Ford 5-passenger automobile was stolen from the streets of Guthrie, Logan county, Okla., on the afternoon of the 20th day of October, 1919, at about 5 o’clock, and that the alleged stealing was reported to the sheriff’s office. Immediately thereafter, about 5:30, Mr. Beem, deputy sheriff, and the county attorney started out to look fori the car reported to have been stolen, and that some time close to 7 o ’clock in the even-' ing, and about 4 or 5 miles east of Guthrie, after chasing the car something like 3 miles, they overtook the driver…
