This was an action against appellee, brought by the appellant, administrator, upon two separate policies of life insurance, issued by appellee to George F. Meyer, in the sums of $5,000.00 and $10,000.00, respectively.
The complaint alleges the issuance of the policies to George F. Meyer; that the same were not to become binding upon the company until countersigned by the agent of the company in Indianapolis; that he did countersign them and deliver them to the assured; that the assured paid the premiums upon said policies during the years 1864, 1865, 1866, 1867 and 1868; and that before the…
