MEMORANDUM ORDER
SHADUR, District Judge.
Defendant W.R. Grace & Co.-Conn. (erroneously named in the Complaint as “W.R. Grace & Co.” and referred to in this opinion simply as “Grace”) has filed a timely Notice of Removal (“Notice”) from the Circuit Court of Lake County, Illinois of this action brought by its ex-employee Curtis Rodkey (“Rodkey”). Although Grace’s removal was indeed timely — Notice ¶ 2 reflects service on its duly designated recipient on April 24, 1991, so that the Notice was filed on the thirtieth and last day permitted by 28 U.S.C. § 1446(b) 1 — the removal was improvident in…
