This is an appeal from a judgment in favor of the plaintiff and certain cross-complainants in an action based upon the bonds and interest coupons of the Sacramento Electric, Gas and Railway Company secured by a mortgage upon the real and personal property of said corporation. California Gas and Electric Corporation and Pacific Gas and Electric Company were made defendants because they successively acquired the interests of the Sacramento Electric, Gas and Railway Company, the California Gas and Electric Corporation having been also absorbed by the Pacific Company.
