— This is an action brought in the Circuit Court of the City of St. Louis on August 27, 1934, by complainant, Joseph P. Harris, a colored citizen, resident and taxpayer of said city.
The suit was brought against the city of St. Louis and certain officers of said city and it was sought by complainant to enjoin all of the respondents from leasing, hiring or permitting the building known as the Municipal- Auditorium and Community Center Building, or parts thereof, to be used for performances at which negroes were denied the same rights of admission as any other race solely because of race or…
