Plaintiff in error, Mary Lerlc, (hereinafter called complainant,) filed her bill in the superior court of Cook county-asking for the return of $20,000 and a $10,000 trust deed and notes given by her for the purchase of the Bel-Pine Apartments, located at 456-460 Belmont avenue, Chicago. Subsequently one of the defendants, the Lake View State Bank, became insolvent and the Chicago Trust Company was appointed receiver. George W.
