Appellant, Frank J. Lewis, was sued upon a contract in the superior court of Cook County by Knight Blanchard, Clarence A. Blanchard, and Blanchard Securities Company, a corporation, the appellees. A jury trial resulted in a verdict and judgment for appellant but, on appeal, the Appellate Court for the First District reversed the judgment and remanded the cause for a new trial. (Blanchard v. Lewis, 345 Ill. App. 246, 103 N.E. 2d 183.) Appellant, however, moved that judgment be entered against him, alleging that the evidence could be no different on a new trial.
