People Ex Rel. Cherry Valley Fire Protection District v. City of Rockford

The State’s Attorney of Winnebago County filed a complaint in quo warranta on relation of the Cherry Valley Fire Protection District against the City of Rockford that challenged the annexation of certain property to the City. On July 8, 1969, the trial court denied judgment of ouster as sought in the complaint and entered judgment of justification and this appeal followed.
