The defendant, Frank J. Scarpelli, Jr., appeals from the December 22, 2005, summary judgment order of the circuit court of Kane County removing him from his position of Village of East Dundee trustee, a position to which he was elected in April 2003. The defendant argues that the trial court improperly found a conflict of duties between the village trustee position and the position of Dundee Township Park District commissioner, a position to which he was reelected in April 2005.
