In this action arising out of a contract dispute, the defendant, Tolland Bank, appeals from the judgment of the trial court rendered in favor of the plaintiffs, Smithfield Associates, LLC, and Zane R. Megos, Jr., and the plaintiffs cross appeal. The defendant claims that the court improperly (1) found that the defendant had waived its right to accelerate payment of the debt owed to it under the settlement agreement between the parties, (2) found that it had breached the agreement, (3) granted prejudgment interest to the plaintiffs, (4) found that it had acted unfairly and…
