The plaintiff, as administrator of the estate of Charles Lockling, brought this action to recover damages for the death1 of his intestate. The jury returned a verdict for the plaintiff, and the case comes here on the defendant’s exceptions to the denial of a motion for a directed verdict, to the admission of certain evidence, and to a portion of the judge’s charge.
