This is a proceeding under chapter 28, Mansf. Dig., to confirm a tax title to lot 5, in block 145, and other lots and lands not here in controversy, in the town of Hot Springs. The lot was sold to the state on the 25th dajr of May, 1885, for the taxes of 1884, and at the expiration of two years — the period allowed by law for redemption —it was certified to the commissioner of state lands, and immediately thereafter purchased by the plaintiff from that officer.
