Defendant appeals a conviction for possession of cocaine. ORS 475.992. Defendant assigns error to the trial court’s denial of his motion to suppress evidence obtained without a warrant. The issue is whether police conducted an unlawful search when they looked through a gap in Venetian blinds into a kitchen window of an apartment without a warrant as they approached the front door of the apartment.
