This suit was originally brought by J. B. Williams in December, 1904, in the usual form of trespass to try title. He afterwards died, and administration was had on his estate, and appellant, W. H. Patrick, was appointed administrator, and the heirs of J. B. Williams also joined in this suit. The appellant, Patrick, amended his petition, setting up the death of Williams, and continued the suit in the form of trespass to try title. The appellee, L. C. Barnes, answered by plea of not guilty and general denial and by special plea to the effect that the lands in question are public free school…
